RECIPE PREPARATION Bread with poppy seeds and sesame:
Sift the flour together with the baking powder, then add the beaten egg with the salt, sugar and sour cream. Mix until a soft, homogeneous dough is obtained. Grease a pan with butter and put a baking sheet, then with a spoon put lumps of dough at a distance of 3-4 cm from each other. Sprinkle poppy seeds and sesame seeds on top and then put in the oven over preheated heat to brown. The toothpick test can be done.

- 750 grams of boiled potatoes, weighed after boiling and peeling
- 75 grams of gray

- 200-250 grams of flour (depending on the quality of flour you use, more or less may be added)
- 80 grams of butter
- 6 tablespoons poppy seeds ground in the machine
- 6 tablespoons powdered sugar mixed with a sachet of vanilla sugar
Preparation Poppies with poppy seeds, dough:
1. Boil the potatoes in their skins (preferably white, more crumbly), cool, then peel, weigh 750 grams and crush well in a bowl.
2. Add salt, semolina and flour over the potatoes, for the beginning only 200 grams of flour. Knead quickly, without insisting too much, a soft dough, still sticky, if necessary add a tablespoon of flour, but in no case should be a hard dough.
Poppy wells, modeling and boiling:
1. Put a 4 liter pot of salted water to boil (salt enough to boil pasta, say 2 teaspoons). Sprinkle the work surface with flour and turn the dough upside down, dividing it into equal pieces. The strong ones no longer than 9-10 cm are modeled on the work surface.
3. Until all the molding pots are finished, the water will boil, and in a large pan or pan, melt the butter and then turn off the heat.

2. With the same flexible spatula, mix well until the poppy seeds are evenly distributed (according to taste, you can add more or less sugar, as I did they are not too sweet, but we like them).
Serving poppy stews:
The poppy seeds are served immediately, hot, but they are just as good after they have cooled down a bit. Optionally, you can add a little cream or a next to them vanilla sauce (custard), click on the recipe link).
Edit: if you want to make fasting puddings, you can try this fasting noodle dough with mashed potatoes (possibly replace it with 1-2 tablespoons of oil) and it's done!
Poppy and sesame sticks
Only good for the school package, work or a longer walk!
When I tasted these bars immediately taken out of the oven (the smell in the kitchen was too nice) I said wow, they taste like those thick pretzels from my childhood and what can I say that they are fluffy, tasty and not at all complicated.
I say it's worth a try!
In a bowl put flour, yeast (without diluting it), salt and sugar and add water little by little until you get a homogeneous dough and finally the oil (little by little). Knead well until you get an elastic dough and easy to handle. Let it rise until it doubles in volume.
Divide the raised dough into 8 equal parts, and spread each piece in a rectangle, then roll it lengthwise until you get a bar.
Wallpaper a large tray with baking paper and place the sticks obtained a short distance from each other and leave them covered with a towel for 30 minutes.
After the bars have risen a little in the tray, we prepare a mixture of 50 ml of water and 1 teaspoon of flour, and with this paste we grease the 8 bars and sprinkle poppy seeds (on 4 bars) and sesame (on the other 4).
Put the tray in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until they are nicely browned.
Meanwhile, we prepare a syrup from the water with sugar and when we take the tray out of the oven, we grease the hot bars with the obtained syrup.
Fluffy pretzels with poppy seeds, salt or sesame
Stir to dissolve the ingredients.
Let the yeast activate for 10 minutes.
Add 550 g of flour and a pinch of salt.
Knead well by hand for about 4-5 minutes.
Put a little oil over the obtained crust and arrange with your hands so that the crust is covered with oil on all sides.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Leave to rise for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into 9 equal parts.
Spread each piece of dough in a rectangular shape with the rolling pin.
Grease with butter (butter should be soft at room temperature).
Notch lengthwise into small strips. Don't cut your heads.
Roll each sheet and join the ends to obtain a round shape.
Place the pretzels in the oven tray lined with baking sheet. Leave enough space between the pretzels. Cover the tray with plastic wrap and let rise for 15 minutes.
In a bowl, mix 2 yolks. Using a brush, grease each pretzel well with the beaten egg yolk.
Sprinkle pretzels with high salt, poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
Bake for 22 minutes at 200 degrees baking up and down. The oven must be preheated.

Salad with sesame and poppy dressing
I have always considered that the secret of a successful salad lies in its dressing. It's very easy to throw some vegetables in a bowl, but it's harder to flavor them and give them a special taste. From the category of dressing rooms with a special taste, I thought I would share my dressing recipe with sesame and poppy seeds, a somewhat sweet dressing, but still quite spicy.

Ingredient for dressing:
& # 8211 a tablespoon of sesame seeds
& # 8211 1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
& # 8211 25 gr of sugar
& # 8211 50 ml olive oil
& # 8211 25 ml vinegar
& # 8211 a teaspoon of paprika
& # 8211 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
& # 8211 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
& # 8211 1 tablespoon mustard (sweet or spicy depending on how you want the dressing)
& # 8211 salt to taste
First mix the solid ingredients in a mortar, then add the vinegar, olive oil and soy sauce, mix well and finally add the mustard and salt.
Mix the dressing very well for about 10-15 minutes in a mortar, until the sugar melts.

Mix all the ingredients for the salad, cut the schnitzel into pieces or slices according to your preferences, and add the dressing. I hope you like the dressing I proposed and try it in your salads this summer.

Poppy and sesame pretzels
Because we got the urge for pretzels on the weekend when unfortunately we didn't find any open pretzels, we decided to make pretzels for a whole week.
& # 8211 800g of flour
& # 8211 3/4 of a packet of yeast
& # 8211 250 ml warm milk
& # 8211 a teaspoon of salt
& # 8211 half a cup of oil
Sift the flour into a bowl, make a hole in the middle in which to put the yeast. Pour over the warm milk, grind the yeast in the milk and knead an elastic dough. Add salt and oil and knead well until it does not stick to your hands at all and leave to rise for about an hour in a warm place.
After the dough has finished fermenting, we start to shape the pretzels, the size and thickness being at choice, then we leave them to rise ready to form, for another 15 minutes. Beforehand, boil a large pot of water. After 15 minutes of fermenting, the pretzels are scalded in boiled water, 1-2 minutes each, then they are placed in the tray, sprinkled with poppy seeds or sesame seeds and baked for about 20 minutes, at the right heat.
After about 15 minutes, they can return to the other side, to be crispier. Great appetite and don't forget that they are a perfect preparation for fasting days.
Stick with poppy seeds and salt / Stick with sesame
To prepare this paste you have to start by putting 25 g of yeast with a little warm water (about 80 ml), a teaspoon or two of sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour, let it increase to double the volume. It has to be like a soft paste.
Put in the bowl 500 g of flour, 50 ml of olive oil, a teaspoon of salt, another teaspoon of sugar, the mixture with yeast, and start pouring, little by little, hot water.
You stop when you have an elastic, non-sticky dough, and knead for 10 minutes. Cover and let rise until it grows large :)).
Prepare a round tray, turn the dough over and stick your hands evenly with oil (to have it like this & # 82302-3 cm). 8211 this sticks poppy and salt.
Sprinkle with sea salt and poppy seeds and put it in the oven. I bake it on the middle step, now it depends on each oven.
When it's red and beautiful, I pick it up with a knife and check that the bottom of the glue is red.

It can't be the car's fault. Rather, either the salt has come into direct contact with the yeast, or put too hot water / milk over the yeast. Put the liquids first and then the solids. Put the salt last (not to come in contact with the yeast)

Hi. I now made mayonnaise and the fermentation time is longer. I kneaded today and put it in the fridge until the next day. You can also do this with yeast. Yes, you put the ingredients in the order specified in the car book (I put the wet ones first) then I set to the program for kneading and leavening, 8 in my case.
I did so, but as soon as I took the dough out of the machine, it left, about half of the tub.
And they didn't come out in the end.
200 g butter or margarine, 4 tablespoons sour cream, 100 g sheep cheese, about 500 g flour, an egg, sesame seeds, poppy seeds
Prepare an elastic dough by kneading the flour well with the melted butter and the cheese given through the small grater. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Take the dough out of the fridge, divide it in half and spread 0.5 cm thick sheets that are greased with egg, sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds, then cut into thin strips 1.5 cm wide and long. approx. 10 cm. Place the strips next to each other in the tray in which I put baking paper. Bake for 15 minutes, until well browned. They are delicious, crunchy, only good for an appetizer. In addition to seeds, you can sprinkle a few sprigs of coarse salt.
