I have been dreaming for a few days about a burnt sugar cake combined with apples. I told my mother and she fulfilled my wish, it only takes a while until you get to eat it, because it is very cold after sitting for a few hours at the figurine.
Today I ate 2 slices and ignored my burns because I was dying of appetite. I will suffer at night, but at least it was well worth it.

It is one of the best cakes ever eaten, tasty, suitable for sweet and cool. I think it will go great in the summer.

Next time I want to replace the sugar with honey to see if it works. I also write with the new recipe if it works.

What do you need?

For the cream:
7 eggs at room temperature
3 tablespoons brown sugar
A pinch of salt
One liter of cold milk

How do you do it?
Mix 7 egg whites with 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Add the remaining 7 yolks, a pinch of salt and a liter of cold milk slowly.
Everything mixes at low speed.

Start by melting 5 tablespoons of sugar. When the syrup is made, grease the whole pot up. I used a tall cauldron to have a place to grow.

Peel 5-6 apples and cut them into slices.
Heat a pan with a cube of butter and cook the apples for 2 minutes then pour them over the burnt sugar syrup from the pot.

When the cream is ready, you can pour it over the apple.

Then put a plate over the pot and turn the cake on the plate. Leave the pot on for at least 4-5 hours. I leave it overnight. After lifting the pan, we can decorate it with whipped cream or it can stay that way. I also put some caramelized and crushed walnuts on top.


The cake with burnt sugar cream and apples is delicious and very easy to prepare. First melt the sugar mixed with water until golden. Method of preparation
We prepare the tray, we peel the apples. Grease the pan with plenty of butter, sprinkle with sugar and then put the apples, peeled and with the hollow from the seeds, upwards. In each apple we put a teaspoon of jam. Put the tray in the oven until the burnt sugar cream is ready. From 500 g of sugar, 700 ml of milk and 6 eggs.
Mix the eggs with the milk and then add them over the burnt sugar in a saucepan. After the sugar has melted, pour the composition over the apples from the oven and then bake the tray again.
Until the burnt sugar cream is baked, prepare the top of 6 eggs, 100 g of sugar, 6 tablespoons of flour and half an envelope of baking powder. Pour over the burnt sugar cream on the worktop and bake the tray again for about 25 minutes. After removing the tray, turn it over on a tray and let it soak in the top of the burnt sugar cream. For decoration, we caramelize 100 g of sugar and milk sweets and then we slice the sliced ​​fruits to soak them in that syrup. Garnish the cake with delicious fruit and whipped cream on the edge. Prepare the jelly sachet for the cake and pour it over the fruit at the end. It is a meticulous cake but very very good. It goes just as well and is completely covered in whipped cream, without fruit.
